k3rn3lp4n1c is a DJ and producer from Switzerland, moving somewhere between trance and melodic techno. The tracks are patient things. They build slowly, they hold their tension longer than they should, and when they finally break they open outward instead of landing a blow.

By day the work is programming machines, the kind meant to think for themselves, a quiet and endless search for a ghost in the shell. By night that same machine becomes a DAW. Nothing here is written so much as programmed, every part set down by hand, one at a time, nudged and moved until it settles into place.

It is the same instinct either way. Swiss, kernel deep, a little panic always left burning beneath the surface. In the end it all comes down to one thing: distilling music out of noise.
